Cody and the Fountain of Happiness – A Collaborative Book Study!

Our 2Js have embarked on another collaborative project with Mr. Kaegi’s class in Oak Park, Illinois.  Joining us for this one are Ms. McLaughlin’s Grade 2s from Birmingham, Alabama and Miss Hartman’s Grade 2s from San Francisco, California.  All four classes are reading Cody and the Fountain of Happiness by Tricia Sprinstubb at the same time, and sharing projects to show connections and understandings of the book through a shared Google presentation and several Google Hangouts.  All of the Grade 2 classes began reading today!

Here are some pictures of our classes reading the book and working on our visualization projects.

Watch the animoto of our completed visualization projects!

    Thanks for sharing

  2. Hi this is Paige…..I think the best part of the book is that the boy is so lazy that he can’t get out of his bed. I really like this project and can’t wait to do more.

  3. Vincent’s favorite part of the book is MewMew. He loves cats and he thinks that MewMew is a GREAT name for a cat!!
