Today we kicked off our new Data Analysis math unit. We learned that during this time we will be understanding ways to gather information, show information, and learn from this information. To begin with, we decided that a good way to find out information is to simply ask GOOD questions. After Ms.J modeled the process, each student thought about 4 things they’d like to learn about from one of their classmates. Once they wrote their questions down, students got the ask their partners their questions, note their answers, and they also shared one thing they learned about their partner with the rest of the class. We all learned something interesting about each other today! Below is a slide show of students asking each other their questions, as well as each of their projects.
