Yesterday in Science class, students observed an experiment testing the absorbency of various materials. Firstly they made predictions about if a material would allow water to soak in, then Ms.J poured some water on each to test them. The 2Js recorded their predictions and observations onto their own charts. Today students showed their learning by choosing from a variety of materials and sorting/classifying them as absorbent or non-absorbent. They glued and labeled them on a t-chart, and used their Chromebooks to take a picture of them. Take a look at the slideshow below!
