Agenda – September 23, 2014

This morning we continued practicing our Mental Math Strategy, Near Doubles. Students went to a math website and played Near Doubles Pinball. It was a lot of fun, and we are sure getting good at it!

In Social students did image searches of what the landscape looks like around Iqaluit, Meteghan and Saskatoon, which are the three
Canadian communities we are studying this year. They each chose several pictures and added them to their own charts to help them remember each area looks like.

We also had Reading Buddies with the 3STs, focusing on a new accuracy strategy called Flip the Sound, learned Super Hero Tag and did Bean Buddy Relays in gym, and had a round of Daily 5 as well! What a busy, super day!
