Keep-It-Cool Devices

Last week the 2Js were learning about insulating materials in our Hot and Cold Temperature Science unit.   Using their new and prior knowledge, Ms.J challenged the class to come up with a design for a device that would keep an ice cube frozen for an hour.  As a group, the students came up with the following design, which worked really well!  Here is a slideshow of the students with their Keep-It-Cool devices and an example of  an experiment log.
