Pumpkin Art – Working With Oil Pastels

On Friday the 2Js had art class.  We worked with oil pastels learning how to do shading.  We made fantastic pictures of pumpkins.  Take a look below!

  1. Dear 2J students,

We just had to let you know how impressed we are with your pumpkin pictures. The shading you used made such a difference, the pumpkins nearly jumped off the page. This is a technique you could use a lot. We always loved art in school and we hope you enjoy it, too.

We’re sending this from Playa del Carmen, Mexico and the fellow in the picture is Max’s grandfather (wearing his snorkelling gear). Looking forward to seeing Max soon!

    Love,
    Papa and Gram Stevenson
