Introduction to Fairy Tales

h3>Yesterday and today in Balanced Literacy, we began brainstorming Fairy Tales and their characters. We learned what protagonists and antagonists are as well. We can’t wait to read a whole bunch of fairy tales and write our own as well!

  1. Hello Grade Class 2J,

    My favourite fairy tale characters are Hansel and Gretel because they are able to outsmart the Evil Witch and find their way home. I don’t think they will ever accept candy from a stranger again. Do you?

  2. Hi 2Js! My favorite fairy tale is Little Red Riding Hood, because she trusted her instincts. It’s a good lesson on trusting yourself, and how to react when things don’t go as planned. What do you think?
