During our Daily 5, we’ve started working on Read to Self. Yesterday we came up with an anchor chart to remind us of what Read to Self looks like, sounds like and feels like for students and teachers. Take a look at the ideas our 2Js came up with on the picture below!
Today we thought that we could do all the things on our anchor chart, so we decided to give it a go and work on our stamina by trying to read for 5 minutes with NO INTERRUPTIONS. Here’s a quick video of the 2Js after we’d already been reading for a few minutes. 5 minutes was a breeze, and we’re going to continue to work on our stamina to try to read for longer as a group. Way to go, 2Js!
