2D Shapes with the Geoboards

In math today we finished up our 2D Shapes and 3D Objects unit by creating 2D shapes using the geoboards.  We needed to show that we could construct a quadrilateral, pentagon, triangle, square and rectangle.  But then the 2Js got really creative to make their own shapes such as letters, a bow tie, Pac Man, a fish, a ninja star, a dog, a heart, a bow and arrow, and so on.  Below is a slideshow of students working with their geoboards in their groups, as well as some of their creative 2D shapes.
