Marshmallow Skeletons!

In Grade 2J today we constructed our own 3D objects out of mini-marshmallows and toothpicks. The objects we had to create were a cube and a pyramid with a square base. After students made them, they got their pictures taken with their creations, and then had to complete a chart to observe how many edges and verticies they each had. Students were also given an opportunity to be creative and make their own 3D object out of more marshmallows and toothpicks. So much fun! Of course, we all munched on a couple of marshmallows as well…
