Estimating and Measuring Mass

In math class today we used several different (non-standard) units to weigh a few objects from our classroom.  It was neat because we got to use our first couple of measurements to help us estimate the masses of our next objects.  Below  is a slide show of student volunteers estimating and measuring the masses of the toy dinosaur, remote and Angry Bird stuffy using clips, blocks and marbles as our non-standard units.  Way to go, 2Js!
