Gr.2J’s Tinseled Tongue Twisters

Several days ago the Gr.2Js had a Read Aloud titled Santa’s Short Suit Shrunk by Nola Buck.  It was a series of short sentences that were tongue twisters.  We discussed what the term “alliteration” is (the repetition of the same sounds at the beginning of words) and how it fits in with our “I Can” statement “I can show interest in the sounds of words and word combinations in books, poems and songs.”  After Ms.J read this entertaining book, we all decided to make our own tongue twisters with a Christmas theme using alliteration.  Below is our first crack at it: our own Tinseled Tongue Twisters!

Can anyone make a tongue twister using alliteration of their own to share with us?  Leave us a comment!
